UCLA’s threesome of golfers finished the Anteater Invitational Tuesday at Mesa Verde Country Club.
Senior Anton Arboleda led the Bruins’ group, placing 10th after firing a final round score of 68 (-3), which was the low round of the day. Junior Preston Valder tied for 11th place at 219 (+6) after carding a final round score of 73 (+2), and junior Kyle Pollema tied for 15th place at 221 (+8) following a score of 72 (+1).
UC Irvine’s Pete Fernandez won the event with a 54-hole total of 210 (-3).
Long Beach State was the team winner, posting a three-round score of 869 (+17).
The Bruins’ top fivesome will travel to the Amer Ari Invitational in Hawai’i next week.
