Five Tabbed USTFCCCA Indoor All-Americans

NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced that five UCLA student-athletes earned All-America honors for their performances at the 2014 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships this past weekend in Albuquerque, N.M.

Ida Storm and Marcus Nilsson earned first-team honors for the Bruins while Kelsey Smith, Kylie Price and Mike Woepse were named to the second team.

Storm placed second in the weight throw with a personal best mark of 71-10.25. Nilsson finished eighth in the heptathlon with a personal-best score of 5,760.

Smith finished 16th in the 3,000m with a time of 9:44.91 while Price placed 14th in the long jump with a leap of 19-9.50. Woepse capped off his indoor campaign with a 13th place finish in the pole vault with a clearance of 17-4.50.
