Kodi Lavrusky's Championship-Winning Goal Voted Play of the Year
By: UCLA Athletics
The championship-winning goal by women's soccer forward Kodi Lavrusky in the NCAA Championship match was voted by the fans as UCLA's Play of the Year for 2013-14.

Lavrusky's goal, scored in the 97th minute, gave UCLA the 1-0 win over Florida State and its first-ever NCAA Championship on Dec. 8, 2013. Defender Megan Oyster set up the play by taking the ball up the field and slotting a through ball into the box to Lavrusky. The sophomore from Yucaipa, Calif. beat the Seminole keeper far post for the golden goal.

Winning with 53% of the vote, Lavrusky's goal beat out plays by Myles Jack, Jordan Adams, Ally Carda and Kyle McPhillips.
