UCLA will launch this seat upgrade service for the 2013-14 men’s basketball season at the team’s home opener at Pauley Pavilion on November 8 vs. Drexel. Soon after, the seat upgrade service will be rolled out at the Rose Bowl for the final two home games of the football season: November 15 vs. Washington and November 23 vs. Arizona State.
"UCLA Athletics is known for top-tier programs, dedicated fans and great sports venues," said Max Lebovitz, Pogoseat VP of Marketing. "We believe that Bruin fans will be very excited to have the chance to upgrade seats at football and basketball games."
HOW IT WORKS: A fan holding a ticket can pull up the Pogoseat app or mobile URL at the event to see what seats are available to upgrade. Purchase the upgrade through the app or website at a discounted price, show the screen and your original ticket to an usher and then take your new seat.
With both the UCLA football and men’s basketball teams ranked among the Top 25 in the USA Today Coaches Poll, the Bruins are once again providing great entertainment for their dedicated fans.
"We are excited to offer this benefit to our ticket holders," said UCLA Associate AD of Marketing & Business Development Scott Mitchell. "The ability to upgrade seats on game day through your mobile phone will serve our fans extremely well."
The Pogoseat app is available in the Apple Store and in the Google Play market. For fans that do not have an iPhone or Android device, upgrades can be purchased through the Pogoseat Bruins mobile web app at bruins.pogoseat.com.
