UCLA Duo Claims Pac-10 Doubles Title

Ojai, Calif.- The UCLA men's tennis team had a doubles team and one singles player win titles Sunday in the final day of competition at the Pac-10 Championships at Ojai's Libbey Park.

UCLA's Philipp Gruendler and Luben Pampoulov, each playing in their first tournament at Ojai, captured the Pac-10 men's doubles title with an 8-3 victory over Stanford's KC Corkery/James Pade.

Playing in the singles portion of the Pac-10 Invitational draw, UCLA's Chris Surapol defeated Carter Morris of Stanford in three sets, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4.
