WESTWOOD, Calif. - Head Coach Guy Baker's UCLA Bruins, who finished the 1998 season third in the national poll, placed three players on the All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) squads, the conference announced today.

Sophomore two-meter man Sean Kern, from Punahou HS in Honolulu, HI, was rewarded for a fantastic season with a second team selection. Senior co-captain Sam Grayeli, from Costa Mesa HS in Costa Mesa, CA, was awarded third team honors, and was joined on the third squad by sophomore playmaker Adam Wright (Wilson HS, Seal Beach, CA). This year marked a second consecutive All-MPSF selection for both Kern and Wright, who were named second-team and honorable mention, respectively, following the '97 season.
