Carleton Makes Semis at ITA Western Regionals

San Diego, Calif. - UCLA sophomore women's tennis player Jackie Carleton has not dropped a set in four matches, advancing all the way to the semifinals of the ITA Western Regionals at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, Calif.

Carleton, the tournament's No. 1 seed, moved into the semifinals following a 7-5, 6-2 quarterfinal victory over Pepperdine's top player Natalie Braverman. Carleton next faces USC's Carine Vermuelen on Sunday.

In doubles, Carleton and Lauren Fisher have advanced to Sunday's quarterfinals after defeating USD's Livesay/Murphy, 8-4. Next up is a meeting with SDSU's Hauerlandova/Vidov.
