In the latest College Swimming Coaches Association of America poll (as of Dec. 10), UCLA (4-1, 2-1 Pac-10) is ranked No. 13 in the nation.
The Bruin swimmers return to action this Saturday, January 18, against the UC San Diego Tritons.
UC San Diego
This weekend, Coach Cyndi Gallagher's Bruins will host the UC San Diego Tritons (2-1) at Sunset Canyon Recreation Center. In last year's meeting, the Bruins defeated the Tritons 179-83. UCLA has an overall 8-0 against the Tritons.
Coach Tom Stebbins' Bruin diving squad will host the annual Bruin Invitational at the Rose Bowl Aquatic Center. Among the schools competing at this year's Invitational will be Stanford, Fresno State and Northern Arizona.
As of December 10, Coach Cyndi Gallagher has had four Bruins swim qualifying times for the NCAA Championships (March 20-22). In addition to the automatic qualifiers, 11 individuals and two relay squads have provisionally qualified. Listed below are the Bruins' NCAA qualifiers.

National Letters of Intent
During the fall signing period, three recruits signed National Letters of Intent to join the Bruins.
Jeana Fuccillo (Lebanon, IL/Althoff Catholic HS), Katie Nelson (Rancho Palos Verdes, CA/Peninsula HS) and Amy Thurman (Orinda, CA/Miramonte HS) will enter as true freshman in fall 2003.
The Bruins will return to Pac-10 competition January 31st, facing the Stanford Cardinal in Palo Alto, CA, and facing the California Golden Bears February 1st in Berkeley, CA.
