Sophomore outside hitter Ali Daley (Grass Valley, Calif./Long Beach State) of the UCLA Women's Volleyball team was selected as the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week (Sept. 18-24).
Daley had a team-high 16 kills against Oregon in UCLA's Pac-10 opener and followed with 11 kills on Friday night at Oregon State. In both matches, Daley led the Bruins in digs with a then-season-high 13 digs against the Ducks, followed by a new season-best mark of 14 against the Beavers. She also had a season-high four blocks (0 BS/4 BA) in each of the weekend's matches.
This is Daley's first UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and of her career.
