Zach Wells Selected To Soccer America's Team Of The Week

UCLA goalkeeper Zach Wells earned his first career selection to Soccer America's Team of the Week after shutting out third-ranked Stanford and Cal.

Wells, a sophomore from Costa Mesa, Calif. (Newport Harbor HS), played 120 shutout minutes in a 0-0 tie with Stanford Nov. 2. In the game, Wells faced 15 shots and made three saves. In the Bruins' 1-0 overtime win over Cal on Nov. 4, Wells earned his third consecutive shutout and made four saves in 99 minutes.

Wells is currently on a 440 minute shutout streak and has not allowed a goal in his last four games.
