The last UCLA tandem to reach the ITA All-American semis was current coach Stella Sampras with Mamie Ceniza in 1989.
The second national tournaments of the season are the Nov. 6-9 ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships in Ann Arbor, Mich., and the season-ending NCAA Championships in May are the third.
