UCLA junior Bridget Dwyer is tied for seventh place at the Western Amateur in the midwest and rain has forced the suspension of play in the second round of the U.S. Women's Amateur PubLinks Championships in Florida.

Dwyer posted scores of 74-70-144 at the par 72 Stone Creek Golf Course in Urbana, IL. She is tied for seventh place at even par. The two-under par 70 is her career best score. At the U.S. WAPL in Palm Coast, FL, only sophomore Yvonne Choe was able to complete her second round. Choe posted an 82 Wednesday and is tied for 58th at 12-over par 156. Before play was halted, junior Hana Kim was one-under par through nine holes and five-over par for the tournament, tied for 14th place. Sophomore Charlotte Mayorkas was two over par for the tournament and tied for ninth before the suspension. Mayorkas had played nine holes.
