Registration is now open for UCLA Men's Soccer summer camps. Two new camp programs have been added to the schedule - the Striker & Finishing Camp, and the High School Camp.
Our newest program is the Striker & Finishing Camp, which will take place July 5-7. This camp has been designed for all players who like to score goals. Whether you are a defender who goes forward for set pieces, or a wide player who wants to learn how to score goals from acute angles, this Camp is for you!
Coach Jorge Salcedo and Coach Paul Bravo have played soccer at the highest level in the United States and are eager to share the techniques and lessons that they use on a daily basis with the UCLA Soccer Team. The Finishing Camp will no doubt teach you new ways to score goals. Finishing is a skill that requires continous repetition, but the most important aspect is the proper training and technical application. We would love the opportunity to improve your chances of becoming a "Great Goal Scorer". If you attend this Camp, we can assure you that you will have a fun-filled productive week.
The second camp is our High School Camp, which takes place July 14-17. During this week, we will cover some of the basic technical aspects of the game, to the more intricate nuances that will give you invaluable insight. Each morning you will be introduced a different topic, and throughout that day your coaches will design training sessions to incorporate what you have learned.
One of the more interesting aspects of our High School Camp is the opportunity to play with and against current UCLA Soccer players. Throughout the week you will play possession, small sided games, and full field with and against UCLA Players. Each and every player likes to be challenged, and this week will definitely provide a challenge for players of all levels.
As a participant for either the Finishing or High School Camp you will be housed in one of the dorms on campus. The safe, clean and enjoyable environment that surrounds the dorms will add to your overall experience throughout your stay.
There are two sessions for day camps - Session 1 takes place July 10 - 13, and Session 2 is held from July 31 - August 3.
