UCLA-Texas Softball Will Switch Networks

May 25, 2003

OKLAHOMA CITY - Television coverage of the UCLA-Texas NCAA semifinal softball game will switch from ESPN to ESPN2 at 3 pm Pacific Time, even if the Bruins and Longhorns are in progress at that time. An extra-innings game in the first semifinal between California and Arizona, a 2-1 California victory in 12 innings, lasted over three hours and will force the network change during the UCLA-Texas game. All of Saturday's remaining NCAA softball coverage, including the Cal-Arizona rematch and a UCLA-Texas rematch if necessary, will be aired on ESPN2.

The first pitch between Texas and UCLA will take place at approximately 3:45 pm Central Time (1:45 pm Pacific Time).
