Bruins Win PING/ASU Invitational for the Third Straight Year

UCLA golfers Jane Park and Amie Cochran combined to go 11-under par in the final round as UCLA won its third straight PING/ASU Invitational on Sunday at the Karsten Golf Course in Tempe, AZ.

The Bruins posted a team score of even par 288 in the final round for a 54-hole total of 865 (+1). They beat host Arizona State by one shot. Texas A&M finished third at 878 (+14), followed by USC in fourth at 893 (+29) and Pepperdine at 895 (+31).

In the final round, Park fired a seven-under par 65 and tied for second place at 211 (-5) and Cochran posted a four-under par 68 to finish fourth at 213 (-3). Senior Susie Mathews tied for 12th at 220 (+4) and freshman Tiffany Joh tied for 15th 222 (+6). Freshman Ryann O'Toole tied for 37th at 229 (+13).

Arizona's Adrianna Zwanck won the event with a 54-hole score of 210 (-6) after posting a 68 (-4) on Sunday.
