Jaramillo scored the game-winning goal with 18 seconds left in double overtime against fourth-ranked and undefeated Washington on Friday. After a Kyle Nakazawa shot was stopped by the Washington goalkeeper, Jaramillo pounced on the rebound and scored his first collegiate goal to give UCLA the 2-1 win. Jaramillo, making his second and third starts of the year, played in all 110 minutes of the Washington game and in all 90 minutes of the Oregon State game, which UCLA won, 2-1. The victory over Washington was the Bruins' third consecutive against an unbeaten Top 10 team. The Bruins also handed #7 Santa Clara and #9 San Francisco its first losses of the year two weeks ago.
This is Jaramillo's first UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and of his career.
