No. 12 Ranked UCLA Women's Cross Country Finishes 7th at Notre Dame Invitational

Eric Peterson's women's cross country team competed in the Notre Dame Invitational on Friday. The No. 12 ranked women's team finished seventh (out of 24 teams) in the 5K race on the Burke Memorial Golf Course on the campus of the University of Notre Dame.

The Bruin women, ranked No. 12 in the U.S. last week, finished seventh at the Notre Dame Invitational as sophomore Alison Costello led UCLA for the third consecutive meet, finishing 25th in a time of 17:28. No. 1 ranked Stanford captured the title , followed by No. 7 Michigan and No. 4 Notre Dame. Junior Jenna Timinsky was the No. 2 runner for the Bruins, finishing in 50th place with a time of 17:47. Senior Ashley Caldwell finished 55th in a time of 17:49 to round out the Bruins' top-three.
