Eric Reed Named To CSN Pre-Season All-America Team

UCLA senior goalkeeper Eric Reed (Mission Viejo, Calif./Laguna Hills HS) has been named a third-team pre-season All-American by College Soccer News.

Last season, Reed earned first-team All-Pac-10 and third-team NSCAA/adidas All-Far West honors after recording a 0.60 goals against average with 12 shutouts. Reed, whose GAA ranked sixth in the nation, was also selected to Top Drawer Soccer's Team of the Season (first team). This summer, he received Premier Development League (PDL) Goalkeeper of the Year honors after posting a league-low 0.62 GAA. He also led the league with 10 shutouts and posted a 12-3-0 record to lead his Southern California Seahorses team to the regular season division title.

In his career, Reed has totaled a 0.67 GAA, which currently ties him for second in UCLA's all-time record books. He has also amassed 24 career shutouts and 100 saves while posting a 23-7-4 record.
