College Station, Texas -The fourth-seeded and No. 2-ranked UCLA men's tennis team will take on the top-ranked Georgia Bulldogs this evening at 5:00 p.m. (PST) in an NCAA Semifinal match at the Texas A&M Tennis Center in College Station, Texas.
UCLA (23-4) advanced to Monday's semifinals with a pair of 4-0 victories over Florida and Auburn. The Bruins are making their first appearance in the semifinals since 1999.
Defending NCAA Champion Georgia (27-3) is making its second consecutive appearance in the semifinals. The Bulldogs defeated Texas A&M in the round of 16 and Pepperdine in the Quarterfinals.
Georgia leads the all-time series with UCLA, 9-3. The last time the two teams faced each other in the NCAA Championships was in 1999, when Georgia defeated UCLA, 4-3 in the championship match in Athens.
Monday's other semifinal features No. 2 Tennessee vs. No. 11 USC.
