No. 1 Bruins Defeat Hawaii in MPSF Semi Finals, 10-5

In the Semi Finals of the MPSF playoffs, the top-seeded UCLA Bruins defeated the fourth-seeded Hawaii Wahine, 10-5. The Bruins held the lead throughout and outscored the rainbows 4-2 in the first quarter. UCLA moves its record to 29, which matches the longest single season winning streak in UCLA women's water polo history.

Natalie Golda, Thalia Munro, and Kelly Rulon stepped up for the Bruins and scored two goals apiece. Gabrielle Domanic, Jillian Kraus, Kacy Kunkel and Brittney Rowe each scored one. Goalkeeper Emily Feher had 10 saves. For Hawaii, Beth Novick scored twice and Anna Sieprath, Malia Tarayao, and Iefke Van Belkum had one goal.

UCLA will face Stanford in the Championship game on Sunday at 3:15 PM.
