UCLA tailback DeShaun Foster will be sidelined from two to six weeks with a broken bone in his right hand.
Foster fractured the third metacarpal on his right hand during the first quarter of Saturday's 38-31 victory over Arizona State.
Foster was examined by a hand specialist at the UCLA Medical Center on Monday afternoon. It was determined that no surgery is required and his right hand has been placed in a cast.
Foster, who currently ranks third in the Pac-10 with his average of 100.2 rushing yards per game, is expected to begin conditioning drills in the next few days.
