Aug. 17, 2006

UCLA senior Daniel Im tied for fourth place at the Scratch Players Amateur Championship Thursday in Byron, MN at the Somerby Golf Club. Rain forced the cancellation of the final nine holes.

Im posted a 63-hole total of 241 (-11) and was one-over par on the day when the event was halted. Junior Kevin Chappell finished eighth at five-under par 247 after posting a 37 on his inward nine. Sophomore Erik Flores placed 10th at 249 (-3) after finishing with a nine-hole score of 39 on Thursday. Finally, sophomore Lucas Lee tied for 16th at 252 (E).
