The No.2 ranked UCLA women's golf team will be looking for its first victory of the season at the Stanford Invitational this weekend in Palo Alto, CA. The Stanford Golf Course plays to a par of 72 over 6,200 yards.
The Bruins have finished no worse than sixth in their three fall events this season and they captured second place at the Ihlanfeldt Invitational two weeks ago.
Head Coach Carrie Forsyth will send six players to this event. Senior Saki Uechi will play as an individual while five other players will compete in the team and individual format. The top UCLA players include junior All-American Charlotte Mayorkas, ranked 18th nationally this week, and sophomore All-Pac-10 selection Susie Mathews, who tied for fourth place at the Ihlanfeldt event.
