The action kicks off this Friday when the Bruins will be in Tucson for a 1:30 p.m. matchup with Arizona (4-4). Friday will mark the first meeting between these two teams this season as the previous match on Feb. 21 in Los Angeles was cancelled due to rain. On Saturday, UCLA will be in Tempe taking on Arizona State (3-5) at 1:00 p.m. The Bruins defeated the Sun Devils, 5-1 back on Feb. 20. Doubles was not played in that match due to rain.

Bercek Returns, McGoodwin Still Out . . .
After withdrawing from her singles match against Pepperdine back on Feb. 25 due to injury, Bruin freshman Daniela Bercek was unable to play singles in the next two dual matches, both UCLA losses. She made a successful return to the lineup against No. 23 Oregon last Saturday, winning both her singles and doubles matches in the 6-1 UCLA victory. Fellow freshman Alex McGoodwin has missed UCLA's last five matches and is still questionable for the Arizona trip this weekend.

A Brief Look Ahead . . .
Following this week's matches in Arizona, the Bruins return home to the Los Angeles Tennis Center on Mar. 17 to host No. 21 Miami at 1:30 p.m. That match will bring two former Bruins back to the LATC, as Miami head coach Paige Yaroshuk was a Bruin letterman from 1992-96 and junior MeganBradley played her freshman season at UCLA in 2002.
