Renfrow Advanced to US Open in the Three-Meter Competition

Freshman Brittany Renfrow had an impressive showing at the qualifying section of the US Open in the three-meter competition after placing ninth with a score of 218.52 and will move on to compete at the US Open on Saturday. The meet, which took place at the Mabee Memorial Aquatics Complex in Midland, TX, is where divers can qualify for the World University Games and possibly other future international competitions.

Senior Janine Strack and junior Amanda Blong also competed on Wednesday at the qualifying section of the meet. Strack placed 23rd with a score of 178.26, while Blong placed 30th with a total score of 154.95. Strack will compete on the platform on Friday in the qualifying section of the meet.
