Quinn Named Pac-10 Player of the Week

UCLA sophomore guard Noelle Quinn was named the U.S. Bank Pac-10 Conference Player of the Week (Dec. 30-Jan.5) in an announcement today by conference commissioner Tom Hansen.

Quinn averaged 17.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 4.5 steals, 3.5 assists and 1.0 blocks in a pair of wins over the Oregon schools. Quinn scored 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in the Bruin win over Oregon State on Jan. 2 for her 11th career double-double and third this season. She also had six assists and eight steals (tied for the eighth-best total in school history). Quinn added 15 points and a team-best nine rebounds in the win over Oregon on Jan. 4.

This marks the third time this season and the fifth time in her career that Quinn has been honored as Conference Player of the Week.
