Los Angeles -Earl Watson scored 21 points and Jason Kapono added 20 as the UCLA men's basketball team had little trouble with Team Concept, winning 118-64 in an exhibition game Wednesday evening at UCLA's Pauley Pavilion.
Freshman T.J. Cummings was impressive in his UCLA debut, scoring 10 points on 5-for-7 shooting from the field. Matt Barnes and Dan Gadzuric each added 13 points. In addition, Gadzuric's 12 rebounds was a game high.
UCLA, which went on a 25-0 run to start the game, shot 59 percent from the field, including 43 percent from three-point range.
All fourteen UCLA players that played in the game were in the scoring column. Leland Osbourne led Team Concept with 13 points.
Next up for the Bruins will be the University of Kansas at the Coaches Vs. Cancer Tournament in New York on Nov. 9.
