The UCLA women's golf team finished ninth at the Comcast/Dick McGuire Invitational, hosted by the University of New Mexico at UNM's Championship Course.
The Bruins posted a 54-hole total of 914. Arizona won the tournament with a score of 892, followed by Tulsa at 897 and Pepperdine at 904.
Individually, UCLA freshman Gina Umeck placed in a tie for 25th with a final round 77 for a three-round total of 229. Arizona's Lorena Ochoa won the event with a final round of 72 and a 54-hole score of 212.
UCLA senior Laura Moffat tied for 27th at 230, junior Alicia Um tied for 34th at 232, freshman Saki Uechi tied for 56th at 238 and freshman Melissa Martin tied for 74th at 242. Sophomore Vivan Phosomran, playing as an individual, tied for 62nd at 239.
