1:<div class="data-import"><P><B>Nov. 27, 2005</B><P> 2:<P><B>LOS ANGELES</B><P> 3:<P>The UCLA women's volleyball team has been selected as the No. 16 seed in the 64-team NCAA Championship field, and will open tournament play at home on Friday, December 2 against Kansas. San Diego and Long Beach State will also play opening-round matches at Pauley Pavilion. 4:<P>The Bruins (18-10), ranked 16th in the most recent CSTV/AVCA Coaches Poll, are participating in their 24th NCAA Championship. UCLA has won three NCAA titles (1984, 1990, 1991) and six total National Championships in women's volleyball (1971-72 DGWS and 1974, 1975 AIAW). 5:<P>Winners of Friday night's first round matches (Long Beach State vs. San Diego at 5:30 pm; Kansas at UCLA at 8 pm) will play on Saturday night, December 3, at 7 pm. All three matches will take place at UCLA's Pauley Pavilion. 6:<P>All-session tickets will be available at Pauley Pavilion on the day of the event. All-sessions passes will sell for $12 for adults and $8 for students and youth. Single-session tickets, which will only be sold on game-days, are available for $8 for adults and $5 for students and youth.
