Five Bruins to Compete for US Team at FINA World Junior Women's Water Polo Championships

Five Bruins will compete at the fourth FINA World Junior Women's Water Polo Championships. Competition begins tomorrow, December 7, in Perth, Australia. Representing the Bruins will be Ashley Stachowski, Amber Stachowski, Maureen Flanagan, Natalie Golda and Thalia Munro. The US team is coached by John Wright. Former Bruin standout and current assistant Nicolle Payne will serve as assistant coach.

The US will begin competition when they face Greece on Friday. Other countries competing are Hungary, South Africa, Russia, Brazil, Germany, Canada, New Zealand, Italy, Venezuela and Australia.
