Football Prepares for Upcoming Season

LOS ANGELES - The college basketball season ends next Monday night. That means it's time for football. UCLA, led by head coach Bob Toledo, Heisman Trophy candidate Cade McNown, Thorpe Award semifinalist Larry Atkins and Groza Award finalist Chris Sailer, opens Spring Practice on April 7 on Spaulding Field. The practice sessions are scheduled to conclude on Thursday, April 30.

Toledo will be available to the media Monday, April 6 at 1 p.m. to give an overview on the upcoming month of practice.

Practices are scheduled for April 7,8,9,13,14,15,16,20,21,23,25,27,28,29 and 30. They will begin at 4:00 p.m. and will end at approximately 6:15 p.m., with the exception of Saturday, April 25 (1-3 p.m.)

If you are interested in attending a practice or interviewing players and/or coaches, please give us a call at the Media Relations office to make sure that the schedule has not changed. The best time for interviews is at the conclusion of practice.
