UCLA's Michelle Greco will participate in the sixth annual Women's Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Challenge on Friday in Atlanta, site of this year's Final Four. Greco is one of 17 players selected to play in the game, part of a doubleheader with the WBCA High School All-America game and a prelude to the Final Four games. The contest will be played in Georgia Tech's Alexander Memorial Coliseum.
Greco, a senior guard, topped the Pac-10 in scoring and steals this past season while helping to lead the Bruins to an 18-11 record. She finished her career as the No. 6 scorer in UCLA history with 1,707 points and is ranked in the all-time Top 10 at the school in 11 different categories.
Among those scheduled to participate in Friday's All-Star Challenge are Vanderbilt's Ashley McElhiney, North Carolina's Coretta Brown, Iowa State's Lindsey Wilson, BYU's Erin Thorn, Boston College's Brianne Stepherson, Notre Dame's Ashley Ratay, Tulsa's Allison Curtin, Villanova's Trish Juhline, Clemson's Chrissy Floyd, Louisiana Tech's Cheryl Ford, Vanderbilt's Chantelle Anderson, Mississippi State's LaToya Thomas, Texas Tech's Plenette Pierson and South Carolina's Jocelyn Penn.
