Bruins Will Play in Pac-10 Men's Basketball Tournament

The UCLA men's basketball team will participate in the 2004 Pacific Life Pac-10 Basketball Tournament, which begins this Thursday afternoon at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

UCLA finished the regular season tied with Washington State for seventh place in the Pac-10. By virtue of the tie-breaking procedures, the Bruins earn the No. 7 seed and the Cougars are No. 8.

The Bruins will face second-place Washington (17-10 overall and 12-6 in league play) at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday night. The other games on Thursday are: No. 1 Stanford vs. No. 8 Washington State at 12:20 p.m., No. 4 California vs. No. 5 Oregon at 2:50 p.m. and No. 3 Arizona vs. No. 6 USC at 8:45 p.m.
