Arizona State Comes To Los Angeles For Pac-10 Series:
The Bruins, who have won four of their last five games, will host Arizona State this weekend in a conference series. The Sun Devils have lost four straight weekend series and are currently 3-6 in Pac-10 action.

Bruins Handle #5 Long Beach State, 11-1:
UCLA held the 49ers to four hits and scored nine runs in the first three innings to defeat Long Beach State 11-1.
David Johnson got the win, improving to 1-1 on the year. He tied a career-high with six innings of action. Kyle Wilson and Kevin Brophy shutout the 49ers in the late innings, keeping LBSU hitless in the final three frames. Wilson also tied a career-high with four strikeouts in two innings.
UCLA Posts Series Win at Arizona:
The Bruins claimed wins on Thursday and Friday to earn its first conference road series win of the season at Arizona.
Friday night saw Casey Janssen improve to 6-2 as he held the Wildcats to one earned run and three hits over 7.2 innings of work in the Bruins' 4-3 victory. With the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth inning, Adam Simon forced Jason Donald to ground out to post his third save of the year.
The Wildcats posted four runs in the first inning on Saturday to take a 9-5 win in the final day of the series.
About Arizona State...
The Sun Devils come to town with a 24-11 overall mark and a 3-6 record in Pac-10 play. Arizona State has gone 1-2 in each of its last four weekend series, which included three conference sets.
Head Coach Pat Murphy is in his 9th year at the helm of the program. He has posted a 384-189-1 mark in his years at Arizona State. Last season, UCLA won two of its three games against the Sun Devils in Temp, with both games going into extra innings.
