LOS ANGELES - UCLA defender Nandi Pryce was named to the All-Tournament team at the NCAA Women's Soccer College Cup played this past weekend at SAS Stadium in Cary, NC.
Pryce, a senior from Casselberry, Fla., was the leader of a Bruin defense that gave up just three goals in five matches during the NCAA Tournament. The Bruins posted four-straight shutouts en route to last week's national semifinal. The 2003 Co-Pac-10 Player of the Year, Pryce started 24 of 25 matches in 2003, helping UCLA tie a single-season school record for shutouts with 15.
The Bruins lost 3-0 to eventual national champion North Carolina in the College Cup Semifinals last Friday, ending their season 20-2-3 overall.
