No. 1 Bruins Win MPSF Championship by Defeating Stanford 9-5

May. 1, 2005

In the championship game of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation tournament, the top-seeded and No. 1 ranked UCLA Bruins defeated No. 3 Stanford, 9-5. The Bruins move their record to 30-0, marking a 30 game winning streak for the season, the longest single season winning streak in UCLA women's water polo history. The Bruins were outscored 3-2 in the second half but were able to hold on for the victory, beating number three-seeded Stanford, 9-5. This is UCLA's third victory over Stanford on the season and the Cardinal record moves to 20-6.
