On Tap . . .
The No. 1-ranked UCLA men's tennis team (2-0) will play two matches this week as the Bruins are scheduled to take on UNLV and No. 7 USC. On Tuesday, UCLA will host UNLV at the LATC beginning at 1:30 p.m. The Bruins have never lost to the Rebels, leading the all-time series 11-0. UCLA defeated UNLV, 7-0 in 2002. On Friday, the Bruins will travel across town for a matchup with defending NCAA Champion USC. The Bruins own a 56-30 series advantage over the Trojans, who enter the week ranked seventh nationally. Although Friday's showdown will not count in the Pac-10 standings, it is important in terms of points for the Lexus Gauntlet Trophy, as both UCLA and USC are tied at 25-25.
