LOS ANGELES - The fifth-ranked UCLA men's tennis team (16-2; 1-0 Pac-10) started the Pac-10 season on a good note Friday, posting a 7-0 victory over Arizona (7-7; 0-1 Pac-10) at the Los Angeles Tennis Center.

The Bruins continued to dominate once singles play began, taking all six matches in straight sets. Kohlloeffel was a 6-0, 6-1 winner over Colin O'Grady at court No. 1, while Lam dispatched of Paul Warkentin, 6-1, 6-0 at court No. 4.
The most competitive match of the day came at court No. 2, where seventh-ranked Luben Pampoulov needed a second-set tiebreaker to defeat 47th-ranked Roger Matalonga, 6-2, 7-6(2). Friday marked Pampoulov's first match since Mar. 1, as he has been out of action due to injury.
