Four UCLA women's water polo players helped lead the U.S. Junior National Team to a gold medal in Australia on Sunday at the FINA Junior Women's World Championships.
Goalkeeper Emily Feher, attacker Jillian Kraus, center Kacy Kunkel and attacker Gabrielle Domanic guided the U.S. to five victories, including an 11-9 victory over Russia in the championship match. In the title game, Domanic scored a team-high five goals.
The four poloists will return to compete with the Bruins by February 12, when UCLA travels to the Stanford Invitational.
