Three weather delays totalling more than four hours pushed back the starting times for 39 of the 156 players at the 103rd U.S. Women's Amateur at the Philadelphia Country Club Monday.

Only seven players completed their opening rounds as the rest of the field was left either on the course or in the clubhouse.

UCLA All-American Charlotte Mayorkas managed to finish nine holes and was two-over par on the inward nine, tied for 14th place.

Senior Bridget Dwyer, scheduled to start at 2:55 p.m. EDT, never teed it up and will return to the course on Tuesday for her first round.

Collegiate player of the year Erica Blasberg of Corona leads a group of three players at one-under par 71. Katie Allison of Mahwah, NJ is two-under par through nine holes.

Once the entire field completes 36 holes of stroke play, match play will begin on Wednesday.
