After the first round of the Matador Spring Invitational, three UCLA players were among the Top 10 individuals entering Tuesday's final round. Cal State Northridge is hosting the 36-hole event at Simi Hills Golf Course in Simi Valley.
UCLA seniors Saki Uechi and Hana Kim were alone in first and second place, respectively. Uechi posted an even par round of 71 and led Kim by three shots. Junior Yvonne Choe was tied for ninth place after posting a 79.
Santa Clara held the team lead with a score of 311, followed by CS Northridge at 313. Sacramento State was third at 314, followed by fourth-place Cal Poly at 323. The final round begins Tuesday.
