Golda also scored six goals in the Bruins 12-5 victory over No. 6 Loyola Marymount and currently leads the Bruins with 23 goals on the year. This is the first time a UCLA player has been selected MPSF Player of the Week for the 2003 season. Woodland, Calif. - UCLA Junior center forward Natalie Golda (La Habra, Calif.) has been named MPSF Mikasa Player of the Week for her offensive leadership in propelling the Bruins to the championship of the Gaucho Invitational Tournament at UC Santa Barbara last weekend (March 8-9). Golda scored ten goals during the tournament including two in the 7-3 championship win over No. 1 ranked Stanford in the Bruins first win over the Cardinal in three meetings this season.
