Baghramian Qualifies for Diving Championships

UCLA junior-to-be Anne Baghramian (Long Beach, CA) qualified for her first U.S. Senior National Championships over the weekend, posting a score of 413.40 to finish fourth in the 3-meter board at the Zone D qualifying meet in Tempe, Ariz. The top-five competitors in the 3-meter and top-seven in the 1-meter advanced to Nationals.

In 1-meter competition, Baghramian finished 18th with a score of 195.40, while Bruin teammate Chrissie Amorosia (San Clemente, CA) was 46th in the competition. Amorosia, a sophomore-to-be, also finished 28th in the 3-meter competition.

The U.S. Senior Nationals will take place August 10-15 in Woodlands, Texas
