Three Bruins Named Women's Water Polo All-Americans

The American Water Polo Coaches Association has named its All-American team for the 2004 season. Sophomore Kristina Kunkel was named a first team all-American and sophomore Lauren Heineck and freshman goalkeeper Emily Feher were named third team All-Americans.

Sophomore center forward and co-captain Kristina Kunkel led the Bruins with 44 goals scored. Kunkel was also fourth on the team with 25 steals and started all 27 of UCLA's games. She was also named to the All-MPSF First Team.

Sophomore center defender and co-captain Lauren Heineck finished the 2004 season with 14 goals and 21 steals. Freshman goalkeeper Emily Feher finished the 2004 season with 169 saves and a goals against average of 4.66. Heineck and Feher were also named to the All-MPSF second team.
