Brett Ormsby Named to MPSF All-Tournament Team

Junior driver Brett Ormsby (El Cajon/Valhalla HS) was named to the MPSF Championship All-Tournament Team on Tuesday after scoring a team-high 10 goals over the course of three matches.

Ormsby, who picked up two MPSF Player of the Week awards this season, was tied for the most goals in the tournament with Stanford's Tony Azevedo. In the Bruin's 11-7 win over California in the third-place match, Ormsby posted a tournament-high five performance.

On the season, Ormsby led the Bruins with 70 goals over 28 matches. His goal total ranked third in the conference in 2003 and ranks sixth in the Bruin record books.

Also named to the team were Azevedo, USC's James Shin, Juraj Zatovic, and Bozidar Damjanovic, Attila Banhidy of California and Pepperdine's Jesse Smith.
