Cooper Earns Academic All-America Honors

UCLA women's tennis player Annica Cooper (Chicago, IL/Geneva HS) was named to the 1999 GTE Academic All-America Women's Spring At-Large second-team today. Cooper, a junior, holds a 3.72 GPA in Business Economics. This is Cooper's first Academic All-America selection, and she becomes the second women's tennis player at UCLA to receive this honor. UCLA's overall total of GTE Academic All-America selections now stands at 80.

Cooper has played No. 1 singles the past two years and No. 1 doubles this past season. She is a three-year All-American and gained All-America honors this season in both singles and doubles.
