UCLA's Bradley Wins adidas Invitational

Los Angeles - UCLA freshman tennis player Megan Bradley defeated teammate Sara Walker, 6-4, 6-3 Sunday to capture the Flight-I singles title at the adidas Invitational in Indian Wells, Calif.

Bradley, who was seeded seventh in the tournament, won four matches en route to the final, including a third round, 1-6, 6-1, 6-3 victory over top-seeded Adria Engel of ASU.

In doubles, UCLA's third-seeded doubles team of Petya Marinova/Walker defeated second-seeded Bradley/Lauren Fisher, 8-6 to win the doubles title.
