In Friday's action at the Trojan Diving Invite, held at USC's McDonald's Swim Stadium, the Bruins had three divers place in the Top-10 on the three-meter springboard. Heidi Prosser placed eighth (435.50), followed by Janine Strack (ninth, 433.85) and Regan Gosnell (10th, 433.60). Kasey Reinhard finished 13th (417.25) and Michelle Brown placed 14th (409.60). Senior Liz Ackerman finished 18th with 196.15 points. USC's Blythe Hartley won the event with 527.70 points.
On Saturday, three UCLA divers competed on platform. Regan Gosnell finished fourth with 378.05 points. Janine Strack finished seventh (326.60), followed by Michelle Brown in eighth place (295.65). Trojan diver Blythe Hartley completed a sweep of the invite, winning the platform with 430.75 points.
During the first day of competition, UCLA's highest finisher on the one-meter springboard was junior Heidi Prosser. Prosser finished fourth out of 25 competitors with a final score of 251.85. USC's Blythe Hartley won the event with 330.85, followed by teammate Nicci Fusaro in second (289.50) and Stanford's McKenzie Murphy placing third (275.55). Junior Regan Gosnell finished ninth (232.40), freshman Janine Strack placed 11th (227.15), followed by Kasey Reinhard in 13th place (221.35) and Michelle Brown in 14th place (216.90). Senior Liz Ackerman finished 21st with 169.00 points.
