Women's Soccer Shut Out by San Diego State

Westwood - The No. 15 Bruins (2-0-0) faced off against the San Diego State Aztecs (2-0-0) in a battle of two undefeated teams and the Aztecs came out with the 1-0 win. Sufia Wali scored San Diego States only goal in the 61st minute off an assist from Lori LaCoursiere. The Bruins came close in the final minutes but were unable to even up the score. UCLAs record is now 2-1-0 and San Diego State improves to 3-0-0. Up next for the Bruins is a trip up north to play in the USF Diadora Classic. UCLA meets Loyola College of Baltimore on Sat., Sept. 12 at 5 pm and UNC, Charlotte on Sun., Sept. 13 at 4 pm.
