Update From 4th FINA Junior World Women's Water Polo Championships

At the fourth FINA Junior World Women's Water Polo Championships, held in Perth, Australia, the US women are 3-0-1 after four days of competition. Bruins on the US junior team are Amber Stachowski, Ashley Stachowski (US team captain), Natalie Golda, Thalia Munro and Maureen Flanagan.

On Friday, the first day of competition, the US faced Greece and defeated them 8-4. Golda, Munro and Flanagan each contributed a goal in the victory. The US then advanced to face Italy on Saturday. The US defeated Italy 15-3 with goals scored by Golda and Flanagan, Amber Stachowski (2) and Thalia Munro (3). Sunday, the US faced Australia, resulting in a 5-5 tie. In that game Amber Stachowski scored one goal. The US faced New Zealand on Monday, defeating them 10-1 with Golda contributing two goals.
